Does anyone out there have a car bottle warmer? We are going to be going on a long road trip this summer and it will be easier to give John Michael a bottle than to nurse, so we are looking to purchase one! Let me know if you have an opinion about a car bottle warmer......either good or bad!
Hope everyone is having a great day!

The bottle is helpful, but here's what a real mom (aka ME) discreetly do...especially on 6+ hour road trips.
Make a little changing spot to dor diaper changes while the car is moving...
Second, just take him out of his car seat and nurse him while the car is moving. When he's done, strap him back in. Plus, if you use a blanket or nursing cover no one will know.
Illegal? Yes probably. Do you want to stop for 40 minutes and nurse? Probably not.
If you don't like those suggestions (which some moms don't and I understand. Mine was built out of necessity, not convenience), then just bring your pump, a car adapter for your pump, water and wipes. Pump fresh and feed him while you're going. I've done this too on the way to Hot Springs.
We bought the munchkin one from target...was like $15. We weren't big fans. We thought it took forever to warm. All of them might be like that though. The best thing we found to do was honestly...I just pumped while Mike drove...and than poured it straight into a bottle...and kept that warm temperature intil max woke up and was hungry....we of course would bring extra milk I had pumped earlier in the icechest - but we would just keep that just incase...and normally warm that with hot water...for example if you go to like a mcdonalds they will give you a cup of hot water like what they make their coffee with and than we would set the bottle in that...got warmer a lot quicker than a bottle warmer...
just thought I'd share....but honestly the pump in the car while driving and pouring it straight into a bottle worked best for us
Thanks for all the advice girls!!!
I did the same thing..pump in the car and then give the bottle. It also made it easier because I would have to pump eventually and it was easier than trying to figure out when I would pump when we arrived at our destination.
